(='Laternchen') Sometimes called Elephant Ears, this is a bold specimen perennial that needs a moist location. This compact selection has large, rounded dark-green leaves with conical heads of golden-yellow daisy flowers in mid to late summer. An excellent choice for containers or the middle of a border. Best with protection from hot afternoon sun, particularly in warm summer regions. Slugs are sometimes troublesome. Could well prove to be hardy in Zones 2 and 3. USPP#16026: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
