Plant number: 1.010.800A carpet or cushion-forming species of Yarrow, quite different from the usual fast-spreading types grown as border perennials. This is suitable for edging in the sunny border or growing in the rock garden. It forms a low mound of fragrant silver-grey leaves, producing small clusters of white flowers on taller stems in early summer. Prune off flower stems after blooming. Requires excellent drainage, tolerates poor dry soils. Native to northern Greece and the Balkan region. Evergreen in mild winter regions.
