Alyssum montanum ‘Luna’
Mountain Alyssum |
USDA Zone: 3-9 |
Plant number: 1.033.040
Fleuroselect Quality Award Winner. A popular rock garden perennial for the spring garden, often seen growing with Arabis and Aubrieta. This selection forms a low trailing mound of grey-green leaves bearing masses of vibrant yellow flowers from mid-spring through early summer. Excellent along the front of the border, in rock gardens and wall crevices. Clip plants lightly after blooming to maintain a bushy habit. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Clumps are not easily divided, but this may be attempted in early fall. Drought tolerant once established. Evergreen.
