Anemone DREAMING SWAN™

Hybrid Anemone

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.040.180

(=‘Macane004’) Anemone are outstanding plants for the late summer and fall garden. The branching stems of poppy-like flowers are superb for cutting. Plants prefer a rich, moist site, spreading to form a large patch. This selection features everything you liked about WILD SWAN™ and makes it bigger. It features large, semi-double, pure white flowers, each outermost petal sporting a lilac-blue band on the reverse. Blooms all season, late spring through frost. The flowers are held high above the foliage and have a nodding habit. Good for part shade. Use a winter mulch in colder regions, particularly if planting in the fall. Easily divided in early spring. May need to be staked by late summer. The newest Anemone from Scottish hybridizer Elizabeth MacGregor. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
