Artemisia ‘Huntingdon’
Huntingdon Artemisia |
USDA Zone: 5-9 |
Plant number: 1.075.500
A shrubby selection of Artemisia, growing best in areas with mild, maritime climates. Forms an upright mound of fine silvery-grey leaves, with a mild camphor fragrance. Has proven to be a superb container plant, combining beautifully with any flowering perennial or annual. Clusters of whitish flowers may appear in summer, but can be removed since they have little interest. Cut back no harder than 6 inches in spring. Drought tolerant once established, and excellent for hot sunny sites. Larger in height and spread than the otherwise similar selection ‘Powis Castle’.
