Plant number: 1.165.540Threadleaf Coreopsis forms a spreading clump of very delicate, ferny foliage and is native to the eastern United States, east of the Mississippi River, growing in dry, sunny locations where it is tolerant of drought, poor soil, heat and neglect. This recent introduction bears masses of sunny-gold flowers offering continuous colour with blooming beginning in early summer and lasting into the fall. Attractive to butterflies. Excellent in the middle of the sunny border, in mixed containers and as a cut flower. Clipping off faded flowers will encourage buds to form all season. Tolerant of hot, dry sites, once established.
