Diascia barberae ‘Ruby Field’
Plant number: 1.188.100
Although widely grown in England for years, Twinspurs have only just started to become known in North America. They have an extended blooming time, often flowering all summer and fall. Excellent cascading out of containers and baskets, spilling over retaining walls, or planted in the garden as an edging. This selection features short spikes of deep pink flowers, with a lilac overtone. Even though the hardiness of this plant may be limited, it is worth growing even as an annual. Remove faded flowers regularly, or trim hard in midsummer.
