Digitalis grandiflora ‘Carillon’
Dwarf Yellow Foxglove |
USDA Zone: 2-9 |
Plant number: 1.190.160
This is a compact selection of a truly perennial Foxglove species. Plants form a low rosette of dark green leaves, bearing upright stalks of beautiful creamy-yellow bells through the summer. Each flower is intricately marked with brown on the inside. The lovely soft shade allows this plant to blend with nearly anything. Excellent for cutting. Remove faded flowers to encourage more buds to form. Any seedlings that appear may be easily moved in early spring. Does not need staking. A good choice for the border or woodland garden. CAUTION: Toxic if eaten.
