Plant number: 1.208.270(='Nothowlee') A hybrid Spurge from England, this forms a bushy evergreen mound of dark purple foliage. Clusters of bright chartreuse-yellow flowers appear in the spring months and are very showy against the leaves. Nice in the border or in front of taller shrubs. Foliage may be pruned lightly in late spring, after flowering is finished, to maintain a compact, bushy habit. A sport from the older selection ‘Redwing’, discovered at Nottcutts Nursery.
