Heucherella ‘Kimono’
Foamy Bells |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.268.110
A hybrid between Coral Bells and Foam Flower, combining the best traits of both into one plant. This recent selection forms a low mound of deeply lobed leaves, silvery-green in colour, with a spidery dark-purple marking in the middle. Sprays of pale pink flowers appear in late spring. Evergreen. Nice choice for the woodland garden, or for edging in a shady perennial border or rock garden. Foliage should not be trimmed back in the fall, but plants may be tidied up in spring by removing any brown or tired-looking leaves. USPP#12154: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
