Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This midsized specimen selection has very thick, pointy powder-blue leaves with streaky white margins. Pale lavender flowers appear in July. Excellent slug resistance. Introduced by Petrus Warmerdam of the Netherlands. While deer enjoy eating Hosta, this variety may be slightly less palatable to deer than others. Either a sport or a seedling of H.‘Halcyon'. USPP#14632, CPBR#2662: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
