Hybrid St. John’s-Wort |
USDA Zone: 6-9 |
Plant number: 1.280.470
This new heat-loving series of Hybrid St. John′s-Wort offers beautiful foliage, flowers in midsummer and berries until frost. The plant forms a low, shrub-like mound of green leaves. This selection features clusters of small, yellow-gold, star-shaped flowers that appear in summer on new wood and are followed by pointed yellow-orange berries that turn dark red as they mature. The berry stems are wonderful for cutting. Great for sunny gardens, small spaces and containers. Attractive to birds and beneficial insects. Prune off the old wood in spring to allow for new growth.
