They offer intriguing colours and thrive in moist to wet locations and are very tolerant of heat and humidity. This award winner features blossoms that open flat and are large, velvety deep purple with a narrow gold signal on each petal. Excellent vigor. Bloom usually occurs from late spring to midsummer but varies by climate. Perfect at the waterside but also happy in a moist border. Require moisture to produce blooms so don't allow to dry out.
