Flowers appear in late summer as pendulous lemon-yellow bells, flaring open and held at the top of the stems. A good candidate for planting in a cool, damp woodland garden. Plants can be somewhat slow to establish and appreciate a mulch of leaves to keep the soil moist and cool.
