Also called French or Butterfly Lavender. This selection features masses of cerise-crimson flowers with long, broad pale pink flags, on a compact mound of fragrant, disease-resistant, silver-green foliage. Rebloomer. Excellent in mixed containers, as well as a hot, sunny border. May be wintered indoors in cold regions. Drought tolerant once established. Flowers are attractive to butterflies. Prune back to 6 inches in spring. May also be sold as L. stoechas ssp. pedunculata ‘Bentley'. USPP#22709: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
