Leucanthemum × superbum ‘Ice Star’
Shasta Daisy |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.316.820
(Formerly Chrysanthemum maximum) Shasta Daisies enjoy universal appeal as a garden plant and cutflower. They are easy perennials that perform best in a sunny border. This midsized selection has double shaggy white petals surrounding a yellow button eye. Removing faded flowers will greatly increase the blooming time. Good strong stems support the blooms well. Shasta Daisy is a well-behaved garden hybrid, and should not be confused with the weedy Ox-eye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare).
