Lychnis × arkwrightii ‘Orange Gnome’
Dwarf Campion |
USDA Zone: 3-9 |
Plant number: 1.335.190
This compact-growing Campion is a useful edging variety for the early summer border. It forms a low, bushy mound of bronzy-purple leaves, topped with clusters of scarlet-orange flowers in summer. This colour combination really stands out in the border or in containers. Short enough to include in the sunny rock garden. Deadhead regularly to encourage more buds to form. Requires good drainage in winter. Flowers are attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.
