Plants form a large, upright clump of big green fronds creating a tropical look and combining beautifully with Toad-Lilies and Hosta. Requires moist, rich soil where it will receive constant moisture. Edible fiddleheads but caution, cook thoroughly before consuming (in moderation). Easy and carefree. Also thrives in hot, humid southern regions where most Ostrich Ferns would not.
