Oenothera ‘Cold Crick’
Plant number: 1.400.340
An outstanding selection of the Sundrops, discovered in Virginia. Unlike the usual spreading forms, this selection makes a well-behaved clump that won't take over the border. Flowers are bright golden-yellow, over a mound of green leaves. Flowers are sterile, so this will not go to seed and become a nuisance in the garden. Flowers best in sunny, well-drained border. Plants are easily divided in early spring. Stems may be pruned back hard after blooming, to tidy up the appearance. Drought tolerant, once established.
