Plants form a low, shrubby clump of evergreen leaves, bearing spikes of clear-blue flowers for weeks on end. Removing faded flowers will encourage more buds to form all summer long. Attractive to both butterflies and hummingbirds. Needs good drainage. Performs very well in the rock garden, as an edging, or in mixed tubs and containers.
