Developed in Nebraska, this hybrid Beard-tongue is easy to grow in the middle to front of a sunny border. It forms a low mound of green foliage, with black upright stems holding clusters of tubular flowers. Blooms are dusty rose-pink with a white throat and beard. Excellent for cutting, also attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. Appreciates excellent drainage. Introduced by Blooms of Bressingham, bred by Dr. Dale Lindgren at the University of Nebraska.
