This selection forms a bushy, spreading, medium-sized clump of shiny, leathery green leaves, bearing long spikes of fluffy, crimson-red flowers beginning in midsummer and continuing right through to the fall. Wonderful for massing in boggy areas or at the waterside. Also suitable as a groundcover and in mixed containers or tubs. Excellent for cutting. Easily divided in early spring.
