Phlox carolina ‘Miss Lingard’
Carolina Phlox |
USDA Zone: 3-9 |
Plant number: 1.415.770
The Carolina Phlox are vigorous, healthy plants with excellent resistance to powdery mildew, which often infects the more common Summer Phlox. This terrific selection is an early bloomer, with a grand display of fragrant white flowers, held in medium-sized heads. Excellent for cutting. Remove faded flowers to encourage repeat blooming in late summer. Moist, rich soil is the best choice for all of the taller, summer flowering Phlox. Clumps are easily divided in early spring. May need staking. Attractive to butterflies.
