Phlox subulata ‘Cotton Candy’
Moss Phlox |
USDA Zone: 2-9 |
Plant number: 1.410.740
There are many selections of Moss Phlox, all of them forming a low mound or cushion smothered by tiny flowers in late spring. This variety has light green foliage with a showy display of snow-white flowers. Clip plants lightly immediately after blooming to encourage a dense habit. Wonderful in the sunny rock garden, for edging, or in mixed containers. Requires good drainage. Drought tolerant, once established. Discovered by American plantsman Tom Cammarota, as an all-white sport of ‘Candy Stripe'. USPP#13420: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
