Summer Phlox is very popular for its midsummer display in the sunny border. This outstanding dwarf selection is one of the shortest yet introduced. It forms a bushy mound of deep green foliage, perfect for near the front of a sunny border or in mixed container plantings. The large clusters of fragrant flowers have pink-white overlapping petals and an intense, hot pink eye beginning in mid summer through to the fall. Remove faded flowers to encourage more buds. Attractive to butterflies. Reported to have good resistance to powdery mildew. USPP#19813: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
