Primula vulgaris BELARINA™ ‘Pink Ice’
Plant number: 1.446.000(='Kerbelpice') Double Primroses have been cherished in English cottage gardens for centuries. These nearly became extinct but are now available again, thanks to the miracles of modern laboratory cloning. This lovely selection produces clusters of double, white flowers with a pink blush, which age to a soft lilac shade, over green lettuce-like leaves. Compact and long-blooming. They are easy to grow, and put on a tremendous show in the spring garden, their double rose-like flowers attracting comments from all who see them. Choose a moist, shady spot free from vigorous tree roots. Also excellent in containers and windowsill gardens. These should be divided every couple of years, in early fall.
