Verbascum ‘Pink Petticoats’
Hybrid Mullein |
USDA Zone: 5-9 |
Plant number: 1.537.320
In this selection the leaf rosette is silvery-green with a delightful felty texture. Good strong stems hold solid-looking spikes of glowing apricot-pink to salmon flowers, with delicately ruffled petals. The flowers somewhat resemble a Diascia or Twinspur. Plants behave fairly well as a perennial if faded spikes are removed to prevent seeding. Deadheading will also encourage repeat blooming. USPP#15658: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
