Verbascum ‘Sugar Plum’
Dwarf Hybrid Mullein |
USDA Zone: 5-9 |
Plant number: 1.537.420
Cousins to the common roadside mullein, the Hybrid Mulleins are unusual and showy plants for the well-drained sunny border. Triangular crispy-green leaves are held in a low rosette, bearing upright spikes with delicate blooms of bright plum purple. Nice compact habit. Plants flower over a long period, and the spikes are excellent for cutting. Remove faded blooms to encourage more buds. Attractive to butterflies. USPP#16224: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
