Plants are sturdy and upright, and seldom troubled by Iris borer. This taller selection has unusual lavender-pink flowers with crimson flecks. Excellent at the waterside, or in a moist border. Also suitable for using in tubs and mixed containers. Siberian Iris are tolerant of wet sites, and will even grow in the shallow water at the edge of a pond or stream. Cut the dying foliage back in late fall. Easily divided in early fall, every 3 to 4 years. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten. Further details for |
