This hybrid selection forms a low clump of thick, glossy green foliage, with upright spikes appearing in early summer. Flowers are purple trumpets, attractive in the border, containers and useful for cutting. Long blooming. An excellent low-maintenance perennial, especially for hot, dry sites. Attractive to both butterflies and hummingbirds. The ‘Riding Hood’ Series of Beard-tongue was bred to provide winter-hardy plants with a longer flowering period and numerous, showy flowers.
