Plant number: 1.485.710Originating in Europe, this upright selection forms a bushy mound of blue-green succulent leaves. Taller stems appear in late summer, holding large clusters of soft-pink buds that open into starry flowers of bright magenta pink. These develop into brown seed heads with good winter interest. A magnet for butterflies. Clumps are easily divided in spring if desired. Pinch or prune plants back by half in June if they get floppy. Trim back to the ground in early spring. Further details for |
