| Also known as Green Sedge or Teasel Sedge. Native to New Zealand, this clumping evergreen Sedge has narrow grass-like leaves in an attractive olive-green shade, developing yellow to orange highlights during the winter. Dark brown to black bristly seed heads are showy in the autumn. Nice as a specimen or edging plant, especially in a moist to wet sunny area. A good choice for containers. Worth growing as an annual in cold winter regions. Plants usually do not require cutting back in the spring.
