Agastache ‘Red Fortune’
Anise-hyssop |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.025.230
Hybrid forms of Anise-hyssop are being developed now, using several of our North American native species in the breeding. This is a recent long-blooming selection for the middle to front of the border, featuring long wands of bright magenta-red flowers. Plants form a compact bush of licorice-scented green leaves. Both the leaves and flowers are edible, and fun to use in salads or as a garnish. Attractive to butterflies. Developed for the commercial cut flower industry, but also excellent in the garden. USPP#11816, CPBR#1659: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
