Dicentra formosa ‘Spring Gold’

Fern-leaf Bleedingheart

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.187.340

The various selections of Fern-leaf Bleedingheart are valued for their compact habit and long season of bloom. This British introduction forms a low mound of bright chartreuse-yellow leaves, topped by clusters of heart-shaped flowers in a soft rose-pink shade. Excellent for edging, and very useful for mixed containers and tubs. Removing faded flowers regularly will promote lots of new buds to form. In cool summer regions plants may tolerate direct sun. From Blooms of Bressingham®. Discovered in her garden by Beth Chatto. COPF: royalty required for propagation.
