Eucomis ‘Freckles’
Dwarf Pineapple Lily |
USDA Zone: 7-9 |
Plant number: 4.212.130
Pineapple Lily look exotic, with their blooms crowned by a tuft of leaves, but they are quite easy to grow. This dwarf selection has it all – a vigorous clumping habit, spotted leaves with wavy margins and attractive rose red flowers in late summer to late fall. A much larger plant than E. vandermerwei ‘Octopus’. A dramatic breakthrough for those who want to have something different! Position in a sunny location and allow to moderately dry out in between waterings. Try them in containers on the patio and in the conservatory, or a sunny border in the garden. USPP#22769: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
