An excellent, hardy perennial relative of the annual sunflower. This forms an upright and bushy clump of coarse green leaves, bearing a late summer display of double golden-yellow daisy flowers. Best in a moist site, then plants will be less prone to developing powdery mildew. Flowers are attractive to butterflies. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring. Excellent for cutting. May need staking.
