A remarkably well-behaved selection of one of our native North American wildflowers. This forms an upright, bushy clump, bearing spikes of showy white flowers from midsummer through the fall. Excellent for cutting. This does not have the spreading tendencies of other varieties, but has a strongly clumping habit with good strong stems. Prefers rich, moist soil, and will tolerate wet conditions beside a stream or pond. Attractive to butterflies. USPP#12637: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
