Plant number: 1.423.150A selection of one of our native North American wildflowers. Plants form an upright, bushy clump of light green leaves, splashed with creamy-white. Spikes of soft lavender-pink flowers appear in late summer and fall, and these are excellent for cutting. Unlike some other selections of Obedient Plant, this one is not inclined to spread quickly, but makes a well-behaved clump. Prefers rich, moist soil, and will tolerate wet conditions beside a stream or pond. Easily divided every 3 to 4 years in early spring. Attractive to butterflies. Further details for |
