Foamflowers are close cousins to the Coral-bells, with similar sprays of flowers over a low clump of foliage. This selection has deep-green maple-shaped leaves with a black blotch in the centre. Delicate spikes of soft-pink flowers appear in late spring. An excellent choice for edging in the shade garden. Also useful in tubs or mixed containers. Evergreen in mild winter regions. Winter foliage colour is rich bronzy-purple. Registered with COPF: royalty required for propagation.
