Foamflower |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.516.430
Foamflowers are close cousins to the Coral-bells, with similar sprays of airy flowers in late spring. This selection has star-shaped green leaves heavily marked with black centers, and spikes of creamy-white flowers. Unlike many of the newer selections, this variety has a creeping habit, making it especially useful as a spreading groundcover for shady, moist areas. Foliage turns bronzy-red in winter. Evergreen. Part of the American Trail™ Series from Terra Nova Nurseries, Oregon. USPP#13437: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
