Agastache rugosa ‘Golden Jubilee’

Golden Anise-hyssop

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.025.190

A colourful selection for the middle of the border, featuring wands of soft-blue flowers beginning in midsummer. Foliage is chartreuse-yellow, holding the colour well with a bit of afternoon shade. Attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Flowers are excellent for cutting. The entire plant is strongly licorice scented, and the edible flowers can be fun to use as a garnish or sprinkle into salads. Pinch in June to keep plants compact if desired. Easily divided in the spring, this is also likely to self seed fairly true to form. Quite possibly hardy to Zone 4 or colder.
