Half the size of regular Pussy-toes, this adorable little carpeting perennial is at home in the sunny rock garden, in alpine trough gardens or growing between flagstones. It forms a flat mat of tiny silver leaves, with short stems of fuzzy pink flowers in late spring. Easily divided in spring by simply ripping the clump apart into smaller pieces. Cut or mow off flower stems after blooming if desired. A tough plant especially suited to hot sunny locations and poor, dry soil. Very drought tolerant.
