Plants form a low clump of light green leaves, bearing pouched, canary-yellow flowers in late spring, held on upright stems. One of our most charming native plants, and seldom seen in gardens. Plants prefer a slightly acidic soil, and are happiest in bright woodland conditions. Dislikes being moved, so plant where it will remain undisturbed.
