Heliopsis helianthoides ‘Summer Green’
False Sunflower |
USDA Zone: 3-9 |
Plant number: 1.255.090
False Sunflowers are reliable for their very long season of bloom. This colourful selection forms a midsized mound with black stems and handsome variegated leaves of green and white. The large single daisy flowers are bright yellow with a contrasting golden-orange centre. Outstanding cut flowers. Removing faded flowers regularly will greatly extend the blooming season. May require staking, particularly when grown in very rich garden soil. Easily divided in early spring. Easy and always rewarding. Attractive to butterflies. USPP#23410: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
